Golden retrievers are large dogs. They are great with children and very loyal.
They are extremely friendly dogs and make a great family pet. They love water! They can suit a suburban backyard but will need daily exercise. They do need grooming as they shed hair. They are an extremely popular breed for young families. Life expectancy 12-16 years.
